In 2001, Brooke began her career at WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia. She later became the morning anchor at WOWK-TV in the Huntington and Charleston, West Virginia area. Baldwin later joined WTTG in Washington, D.C. as lead reporter for the 10 p.m. newscast.
In 2008, Brooke joined CNN and was based out of CNN’s Atlanta world headquarters until 2014. She has been an anchor of CNN Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin on weekdays. She was based in New York City. Brooke co-anchored CNN’s special coverage of the final launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis on July 8th, 2011from Kennedy Space Center.
