Roar is one of the contestants in the 24th season of the NBC singing reality competition show The Voice. The singer is a native of North Plains, Oregon. Roar was also a contestant in the 2012 American Idol. Additionally, she was a member of a band, Lace + Thorn that released six singles between 2019 and 2022.

The Voice season 24 premiered on September 25, 2023, at 8 pm. The show is being judged by Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and new coach Reba McEntire.

During The Voice blind auditions, Roar sang Here For the Party by Gretchen Wilson. She got four chair turns. Her daughter helped her choose the coach (Gwen).

The Voice Season 24 airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC at 8 pm. Streaming the next day on Peacock.

Roar competed against Bias in The Voice Battles Round. The pair took the stage with Jelly Roll’s Need a Favor. Gwen chose Bias as the winner of the Battle, however, Roar was instantly “stolen” by Reba.

During the Knockout stage, Roar performed Girl by Maren Morris. She was up against Team Reba’s Tom Nitti and Alison Albrecht. Reba chose Roar as the winner of the knockout round. She also saved Tom Nitti from elimination. 

Moreover, Roar performed the Fleetwood Mac song, The Chain during The Voice Playoffs. She advanced to the Top 12 contestants and also went on to advance to the Top 9.
