Her career began as a writer for the Eastern Daily Press and also on the commercial radio station Broadland 102 where she appeared. Later, for the lunchtime magazine show ‘Home Malone’, she was a fashion presenter. In addition, she became ITV Angila’s main weather presenter after meteorological training.
Thereafter, she was a presenter and reporter on regional programs including the animal rescue series ‘Animal Tales’ and the consumer show ‘Late Night Checkout’. Later, she was a reporter on the national channels ‘Channel 5’, ‘Sky’ and ‘ITV Weather’.
On 25th February 2005, she joined ITV Weather on a permanent basis. Additionally, she appeared as a weather presenter on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on ITV Breakfast.
She presented ‘Good Morning Britain’ inside Britain’s Storms on ITV ON 2nd April 2019.
Becky Mantin Accident
She had gone to Australia for her vacation with a friend, Jon. Suddenly a person surfing on the beach hit her on the back of her head with an enormous thud while standing with water at shoulder height.
She later collapsed on the beach as she put her hand in her skull. Her friend was surfing further along the beach hence not aware. She was helped by other people and was hospitalized.
Later, she went to her parent’s house in Norfolk to rest for a few days. Her mother suspected she may have had a bleed on her brain, therefore, called an ambulance. It was clear after an MRI scan. However, later she was cured of migraine and ear infection.
