Munchetty replaced Emma Barnett, who moved to Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, as the host of the 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Radio 5 program from January 2021. In September 2010, Munchetty and Sally Taylor co-hosted BBC One’s The Spending Review – The South Today Debate.

Munchetty also performed Paranormal Investigation: Live on Living for Hallowe’en on the 30th and 31st of October 2010. Fear and Faith in Paris, a BBC documentary about anti-Semitic attacks in Paris and their impact on France’s Jewish community, was narrated by Munchetty. She was the winner of Celebrity Mastermind, which aired on January 2, 2013. She took over as host of BBC One’s Sunday Morning Live from Sian Williams in June 2016. Emma Barnett and Sean Fletcher took her place in 2017. Munchetty hosted an episode of BBC Two’s Newsnight on August 26, 2016.
